Caltex

Our friends at Caltex commissioned Cutout to design and construct the laser cut perforated facade for Burleigh St Bridge in Newtown, Victoria. The Cutout design team, headed by Graham Kenneday, developed this laser cut design based on the Caltex Star Logo, which has been broken into elements to form this striking subtly corporatised pattern.

Monash University, Melbourne

Commissioned by Hansen Yuncken, this Cox Architecture design was developed by Cutout to screen two areas in the refurbished Matheson Library at Monash University in Melbourne. Roughly twenty two thousand laser cut circular perforations form the design of this purpose built architectural screening.

Uni Lodge, Darwin

Sitzler have chosen an intricate Cutout design adding security to this architectural decorative screen for Uni Lodge in Darwin. Our own backing fixing method, requiring only vertical or top and bottom support, has been widely used in our projects with great success. Our approach creates a solution which is strong, safe and simple to install.
