Waurn Ponds Library and Community Hub

Waurn Ponds Library and Community Hub is located adjacent to the new Leisurelink facility in Waurn Ponds; just outside
Geelong in Victoria. This project was completed in late 2011 and is now open to the public.

Cutout has worked closely with Whitefield McQueen Irwin Alsop Architects and Lyons Construction, to create the
laser cut façade which covers the entire perimeter of this impressive building.

Over 550 powder coated Mild Steel laser cut panels have been used in the production of the facade.

The laser cut panels feature a custom design to represent the chain of ponds from which Waurn Ponds was derived.

Cutout has designed and manufactured these stunning laser cut window screens using our native
Kangaroo Grass design. 10mm thick frosted Perspex has been used for the laser cut screens which are spaced
off the courtyard wall of this Melbourne home in a staggered configuration, adding more presence and
interest to this feature project.

Intricate Cutout design code: N1040 has been featured in these laser cut Corten rusted steel screens in this
contemporary style Summit Homes display home in Western Australia.

This beautiful Cutout design ND090 powder coated Mild Steel laser cut dividing screen has now been installed in
numerous Alliance Homes display homes in Queensland. We are proud to be continuing to provide Alliance Homes
with Cutout laser cut screens and concepts in their state of the art home packages.

Cutout design code: A1002 was chosen by our clients in Rowville, Victoria for this 12mm thick MDF laser cut wall
cavity screen. A dark chocolate 2PAC spray has finished this feature piece which certainly completes this
family's modern dining room.

One of our most recent designs, Cutout ND050 has been chosen by our clients in Mt. Claremont Western Australia
to grow their stunning climber on. These particular laser cut decorative wall screens have been manufactured
using bare Mild Steel, which will rust naturally over time.

This impressive office dividing screen has been laser cut from Mild Steel. As is the case with all of our powder
coated screens, we have firstly zinc plated the steel to prevent any possible surface deterioration over time.

We have used 3mm thick Corten rusted steel for this impressive custom signage concept for the renowned
Spicers Vineyards Estate in Pokolbin NSW.

This Corten rusted steel sign for Smugglers Cove in Malua Bay NSW has been left as a flat sheet so
the sign canwrap around the curved rock wall behind. This laser cut sign has been fixed from
behind so no fixtures are visible from the front face.

Cutout has designed and manufactured this specialty laser cut custom Corten rusted steel sign for a property
near Berwick in Victoria. This sign has been fixed between supports, rather than directly onto which would
create visible front face fixtures. Our metal workers have used rusted Mild Steel RHS and our hand-made
Mild Steel inserts with beveled edges to finish this specialty free-standing sign.
